The Main Components and Module Characteristics of the Cam for a Car

1. The four major components of the cam for a car

What is a complete cam for a car? I believe many people are thinking about how to make this car camera.

The standard cars cam consists of four parts: PCBA, lens, tail cable and shell. Believe that PCBA is a strange thing for you. What is this? PCBA is a complete circuit diagram composed of a blank board, that is, a large amount of electronic and electrical materials are pasted on the PCB.

The lens is an important part of the the cam for a car, and the cars cam has a lot to do with the camera effect. There are many kinds of lenses, including waterproof lenses and waterproof lenses, with or without blue light toughening and non-toughening. The lenses also include glass and plastic. This kind of lens will also directly affect the sharpness of the camera. A good lens will make the camera work well.

Everyone knows that everything has an appearance, and our automobile cameras also have different appearances. There are different molds for each different appearance, which can be matched according to the needs of customers. So it seems that the camera is very simple. In fact, it contains a lot of things and is very complicated, but it doesn't feel like that.

This is a simple camera component, which is the four main components. Of course, they are all necessary to form a camera.

2. What are the characteristics of the cars cam module?

(1) Another feature of the cars camera module is that the horizontal viewing angle is expanded to 25°-135°. The horizontal viewing angle of the camera module in the mobile phone is mostly about 55°. To achieve wide-angle and high resolution around the image, at least 5 lenses are used.

(2) The body of the cars cam module is die-casted with aluminum alloy, and the material cost is relatively high. The automobile camera module does not use resin but uses aluminum alloy die-casting products to ensure reliability. It mainly includes the following three reasons:

① Good heat dissipation;

② Using the body as a ground layer to suppress electromagnetic interference;

③ Good thermal stability of the shape.

(3) It can suppress the noise during low-light photography, especially the module that takes pictures of the rear and side of the vehicle. It is required that the image can be easily captured even at night.

(4) The mechanical strength and high temperature resistance of cars cam modules are the decisive criteria. These modules will be packaged in a special package, so that the camera has both the required toughness and resistance to penetration. Because cameras used in active driving assistance systems are components related to driving safety, they must also be able to work reliably when the power supply system is temporarily cut off.

Due to the special requirements for stability and specifications of automotive cameras, the requirements for modules and packaging are relatively high. In addition to the high barriers to process and technology, the time period for automotive cameras to enter the pre-installation market is much longer than other types of cameras. It takes at least one year from receiving a new product development plan to generating revenue.
